    Description

    A young Russian woman in traditional costume offers "bread and salt" to a visitor as a sign of hospitality. The pin is hand-painted and signed, and measures approximately 2 3/8 inches high and 1 1/2 inches at its widest point.   This piece is from a group of Russian jewelry purchased new years ago and is being sold as new old stock.
    Note that this piece is being sold "as is" because there is a damage in the finish - see Picture 8. It can be seen with magnification and at certain angles.
