Vtg 1990s, Designs By Lucinda, Brooch/Pin READ TO CHILDREN w/teacher/mom/aunt/grandmother female figure reading a book to four (4) little children who are sitting around at her feet. Numbered 48 on the back beside the original makers business sticker on it.
Appears to be layers of thin wood, that is then colorfully painted, then I’m not sure of the method or terminology but appears to be shellacked or lacquered to a shiny glossy clear protective finish.

The teacher and 4 children listening and being read to are as described:
3 have dark hair & 1 has blonde hair
The childrens skin tones are a tan to brown and ethnicity is not apparent on any. One of the children is right in front of teacher and you can’t see her/his face.
Teacher has shoulder length brown hair and wears a purple dress.
Colors on pin are yellow, green, blue, tan, orange, brown, purple. The lettering is hard to picture but is a light blue coloring. Book is dk pink with a yellow moon and star on book cover. Overall a very sweet pin with a wonderful message.
