Vtg 1970’s Northern Cheyenne Hand-Beaded Watch Band Smaller Wrist
Very nicely and tightly beaded Cheyenne Tribal Native American Watch-Band. Lived at Crow Agency in the 70’s and either purchased or was gifted several beautiful pieces of beaded jewelry from both the Cheyenne and Crow Tribal members.
This is beaded and sewn onto leather which has been smoothed with wear. No loose beads, all tightly intact. I have not tried the watch but it’s time for a new one. Of that, I am certain.
Hook and eye closure works perfectly and stays closed. For a small or small-medium sized wrist. It measures 7 2/8” from tip of eye to end of hook. About 7” of beadwork and measures approximately 2.25” wide at its widest ‘circle’. A fine piece of beadwork.
