VINTAGE 1920s - 1950s COTY AIR SPUN ROUGE BRASS COMPACT 1 1/2" DIAMETER 3/8" THICKNESS
Up for auction is this spectacular vintage Coty rouge compact.  Just look at the pictures and see how beautiful this compact is.  This brass compact from Coty was sold at the world famous Hudson's Department store in Detroit.  The outside back has the original J.L. Hudson Co. tag on it.  We are not sure of the age of this compact but have been told by some pretty knowledgeable so called experts that it is from the 1920s to 1950s.  The outside is in good condition with some color loss and cold use a polishing.  Inside under the lid is a mirror that is in excellent condition.  This compact still holds the original light rouge and Coty puff.  As the pictures demonstrate this adorable golden brass compact is in good vintage condition with some color loss on the outside and could use a polishing.
