VINTG AKR AMY KAHN RUSSELL STERLING SILVER BROOCH PENDANT ONYX GARNET 925COLLAR.
Just gorgeous!
The brooch features a striking combination of glittery black onyx (both faceted and in cabochon form) and glowing red Mozambique garnet cabs.
The brooch is paired with a wonderful thick and heavy hammered sterling silver collar which has a hook clasp so it’s secure for whatever pendant is suspended from it.
The ensemble is very versatile. The brooch can be worn by itself or with the collar, and the bale is large enough to swap out with most other necklaces.
Of course the collar can be worn separately by itself or with another pendant (the pendant must have a large bale because the collar hook is thick).
This brooch was purchased by me directly from Amy many years ago. It is early, pre-HSN and pre-made in China. It is stamped STERLING AKR.
