This wonderful vintage compact is marked Fiancee' Woodworth under the mirror
This beautiful vintage compact is the Woodworth Fiancée compact with the Vani-Pat powder dispenser inside.
The case is made of a silver-tone metal with a rococo lid motif accented in orange.
It does have some small discoloration spots on the lid which is not incredibly unusual due to the age of this item. (1917)
The shape is known as the arrowhead or egg-shape.
This is a RARE compact and very desirable.
The larger circle is labeled VANIPAT
Under the smaller round door on the inside is marked Pat Apr 24 - Aug 14 1917 32-362-3

There is no powder in this compact.
The mirror is bright and not scratched or faded
