Vemco Drafting Machine 3300 / 18" Arm 3300.18 USA Vintage Antique Tool w/ Clamp.
This is estate sales find please review the pictures to judge condition and gather further information.
I do not see any obvious defects besides one plastic piece not staying in place, some minimal chipping paint, and a little bit of rust on an attached roller. I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE THIS DEVICE but it does appear to be functional. The arm seems to swing without any issues, I’ve depressed the button to change the numbers on the dial without issues, and I do not hear any scrapping or dragging to indicate internal damage.
PLEASE BE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT THIS ITEM IS AND THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT. IT IS VINTAGE AND IN USED CONDITION. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE PURCHASE. I CAN NOT ACCEPT RETURNS FOR THIS ITEM. IT IS BEING SOLD AS IS. Im not a store/business. I’m one single person selling items to raise money for my wedding in September. I’ve entered exact weight (5pound 10oz) and dimensions (28.5”x9x8”) into the shipping calculator. Because this is a large box shipping will be expensive but there’s no way to bring this cost down. I made the box specifically for this item to make sure it was safe in transit. I’ve used a foam type material to mold to its awkward shape, bubble wrapped it, and then wrapped it with packing paper so it can’t be shuffled around in the box.
