VINTAGE TRE JUR ART DECO POWDER SAMPLER COMPACT

This is a vintage if not antique
ART DECO, TRE-JUR (The Little One)
silver colored Ladies Powder
COMPACT
.  It has an etched lady in a hooped skirt on the front.
From the research I have done this was made in 1928.
It was produced
after The Hooped Skirt Scandal.
It’s a dainty and very pretty compact.
Stamped on the back "
TRE JUR" - REG. U.S. PAT - SAMPLER – THE HOUSE OF TRE-JUR – NEW YORK CITY
.
It measures approx. 2 inches in diameter.
There are a few scratches on the front and the compact is empty.
