Vintage SHEFFIELD SILVER Marked MESH DRAWSTRING PURSE w/ COMPACT Dangle

Description

Up for bid is a vintage large nickel silver mesh drawstring purse with a powder compact dangle.  The bag is about 7 inches long by 6 1/2 inches wide.   It has a fringe with dangling balls around the opening.  The opening has rings around the edge, threaded with a thick drawstring chain.  It hs 2 ½ inch chains with finger rings at either side, as well as 3 ½ inch chain with a small round compact.  The compact has a mirror inside the lid and a small powder applicator.  It is marked “SHEFFIELD / SILVER” on the bottom of the compact.
Condition on the purse is good.  It is a bit dark looking, but there does not appear to be any damage.  A fine old mesh bag!
