Vintage Plains Plains Indian Baby Cradle - Amazing!

Presented today is this wonderful Plains Indian baby's cradle. It comes from an estate of a dear, departed friend who was a respected lecturer, teacher and museum curator. She was part Cheyenne, and lectured and demonstrated extensively on Plains Indian cultures. Also, in the 1960's, she
traveled the northern plains on the Pow Wow circuit, participating in dances, either singly or with a dance troupe. i believe this cradle, and the other beaded items i am making available, date from that time. i believe that because the floral design is applique, and not hand-sewn. It measures 9 inches across and 30 inches in length. The beadwork is in excellent condition. It's an amazing artifact in need of cleaning and minor repair.
