    Description

    This is a Vintage PICTURE PUZZLE EXCHANGE Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle--  Titled "The New Lake" made of 3/16" Plywood.
    This puzzle
    measures 15 1/2
    " x 21 1/2" and has vibrant color.  The puzzle is complete with 484 Pieces--including 3 replacements.  Pre-interlocking, Cut on the color line.
    This beautiful puzzle is in overall excellent quality condition.  There are a few pieces puzzle pieces along the irregular upper border with spot stains.  See photo #12.  The replacement pieces are marked with a blue dot in photo #12.
    Marked in the lower right corner is "Philip R. Goodwin 1911".  Philip R. Goodwin (1881-1935) was an American Artist and Illustrator known for his depictions of wildlife, the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and the Old American West.
    The puzzle box is original with seam tears, stains, writing, and age/edge wear--and in overall fair-poor condition.  The label is intact.  Lot #40     Bin A

    This puzzle was among a large collection from an advanced private collector's estate.  Each of her puzzles was personally categorized, evaluated, numbered, and catalogued.  Her original photograph is included along with her personal hand written notes and evaluation of this puzzle.
