VINTAGE DONALD DUCK COOKIE JAR Early 1940's Very Nice condition!!

Description

WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS--DONALD DUCK COOKIE JAR. Distributed by LEEDS in the early 1940's and likely manufactured by AMERICAN BISQUE.  More common is the "Three Caballeros" version of this piece which fronts the same, but features the Parrot on the back.  The original all-Donald piece seems harder to find.  The manufacturer used a "cold paint" process where the paint was applied after the original baking and glazing.  The base of the jar features a crown symbol and the word "Celebrate".   FINE condition.
This is a splendid example of this piece with no cracks that I can see.  This jar also displays the vast majority of the original paint--a very rare thing when considering that most of these still around show a great deal of paint loss.
