Vintage Dietzgen Pretty Neat Drawing Board Paper Holder Sketching Art Drafting

This vintage drawing/drafting board was made by Dietzgen, patent # 2060355. The board measures approx.10 1/2" X 13" measured from edge to edge; it was designed to hold paper measuring 8 1/2" X 11", with little clips in the corners to hold the paper down.Both front and reverse sides are shown. Board reads "Pretty Neat" in cursive at the top front. Back reads "Designed for Engineers, Architects, Draftsmen, Students, Artists, Designers, Salesmen, Contractors, Shopmen". On the reverse it also says:Paper quickly and firmly clamped. No thumb tacks to puncture drawing or board. No T-square required. No cumbersome or bulky parts. Easy and quick to operate. Thin and light for carrying. Hardwood - pencil will not mar the board. No wood grain to cause pencil to wander. Nice older item - appears to date from the 1950's. Good condition - shows wear on one corner. nothing major. Would make a great addition to any collection, or could be used as intended.
