Vintage DFB Co Powder Compact Swan Medallion Textured Striped Metal

Description

This auction is for a very nice vintage early powder compact, lipstick and rouge holder.  The interior mirror is cracked, as you can see from the photo.  The metal is a textured stripe design, with two verticle strips in shiny silver tone metal.  I have no way to test for sterling, but a magnet does not attract to the metal.  The unusual thing about this compact is the swan medallion, surrounded by a wreath type textured metal design.  The swan is gilt with two swirled flowers above (wear to the enameled leaves--they are very light).  The edge of the compact is highly detailed, and it is marked DFB Co.
