Vintage Collectible, E.B.M. Co. Compact Attleboro, MA

Description

This compact was produced somewhere between 1905 and 1925. Wish I new more. Very good condition for its advanced age. There are some obvious wear; including a little scuffing and hairline scratches. No dents though. The spring activated cover works great. Once you open the lid you can pull down the silver, spring loaded piece of metal. I guess it would holed a small card or business card. It measures 3 3/8 in. in length and is 2 3/8 in. in width. The depth is approx. 3/8 of an in. The drop of the chain is 3.75 inches. To the left of the closure it reads “E.B.M Co.  Made In The U.S.A.”
It weighs 3.4 ounces.
