Vintage Art Deco Djer Kiss Compact Kerkoff Kissing Fairies

Description

Lovely compact with fairies decor on the front.  1925 version of kissing fairies in good condition by Djer Kiss from France. The mirror swings forward and out to reveal a compartment of rough or powder cake if so desired. The mechanism is pushed inward to open and then again to close the compact tightly. It is not spring loaded to burst open and requires a fingernail in the ridge or firm grip on the side to open while depressing the front button. Thank you.
