    Vintage Antique Italian 800 Silver Hand-Painted Enamel Compact.
    A beautiful 800 silver compact featuring a hand-painted romantic courting scene bordered with turquoise marbled blue enameling and silver engraved flowers and flourishes. An intricate floral design is hand engraved on the sides and bottom of the compact and the interior is gilded in a gold wash finish. The mirror is flawless, the clasp is tight and secure, and the hinge is good and fully functioning. Colors are sharp and bright. Stamped “800”, “Made in Italy” and maker’s mark on the inside. Measures 3” in diameter, 1/2” high, and weighs 88 grams. Very good all over vintage condition (any white spots are reflections from the light, not imperfections).
