    Description

    You won't find an acu-arc with better provenance than this instrument.
    Box is stamped inside  April 10, 1962 and the accompanying invoice is dated 1/6/63 with the price of the ruler. The invoice is a carbon copy showing clearly the signature of Mr James E. Hoyle. The invoice is made out to Mr. Frederick Vicik 4 Triangle Place, Tuckahoe 7, NY.
    The box, the instrument, and all the documentation are in excellent shape, having been undisturbed for probably forty years or more.
    This belonged to the mechanical engineer father of a friend of mine who gave me some of his father's drafting and measuring instruments.
    The father was not Mr. Vicik though he did work in Tuckahoe NY.
