This auction is for the stunning authentic antique Art Deco ladies powder compact, made in 1930s (may be even 1920s). The outstanding compact consists of sterling silver round shaped compact with elegant floral engraving, incased in rectangular ruby red color bakelite. Inside the compact features an original mirror and a powder compartment. If you open the powder compartment, you can see the hallmark inside in the middle under the loose powder: “STERLING PATENT PENDING”. The compact comes with original ruby red velvet pouch.

Condition:
The antique 1930s sterling silver bakelite
compact is in very good condition with minor signs of age, everything is original. It comes in original pouch. The clasp is in good working condition. The powder compartment
has some loose powder, no puff. We didn’t polish sterling silver inside.
