You will be happy to know that these pens are the original “thin-style” ballpoint pen tips that are required to fit through the narrow holes of the Spirograph® gears. Our multicolor pens include the original four colors, black, blue, red and green. But they also include fun and creative rainbow colors: yellow, light blue, pink, purple, brown, and orange — ten colors in one pen! (The barrel color will vary - blue/pink.)
Perfect for the original Kenner Spirograph® 1967-1969, (Black, Blue, Red Green) or Spirograph® Plus from 1983/1984. (Those units had three pens: Blue, Red/Pink and Orange.) WILL ALSO WORK WITH THE MORE RECENT KAHOOTZ VERSION OF THE SPIROGRAPH!
Our Spirograph Multicolor Pens are the highest quality you will find. There are other brands you will try that are cheaper but the ink flow is blotchy and inconsistent. These Spirograph Multicolor Pens allow you to draw clean lines every time.
Won't any pen work?
No. The original Spirographs require ball point pen tips. The problem is that the "modern" ball point pen tips are of a larger diameter and don't completely fit through the tiny holes of the spirograph gears.
