Antique Singer Sewing Wood Rolling Puzzle Box With Attachments.
Top of box is embossed with "Patented 1889 February 19"
The sides are dovetailed and when opened, roll out from 4 triangles.
It closes with a metal pressure clip.
Inside is lined with original Purple velvet and has numerous metal attachments to store sewing items.
Does come with attachments, but is not complete to original.
Approximate measurements: Fully open: 12" x 6.5". Closed: 6.5" x 3.5" x 3.5"
For it's age, it's in great condition. Velvet seems to be intact except from wear of the box being rolled up. There is visible rust on some of the pieces and velvet from storage and changes in humidity.
Otherwise, seems to be very sturdy and well made for its age.
