    Description

    Approx. 2 7/8" square x 5/8" thick, this compact has a patent number of 140,637 after 'sterling', along the bottom rim of the disk. Nicely embossed raised detail of two doves. The Lucite compact has a light green tint. The closure is one peg and it has a snug fit. Mirror has a small bit of wear (damage behind glass) but still useable and powder pad intact. Powder gone but has remnants left. No cracks or damage to delicate Lucite case. Very classy compact from the 1920-30s. Good luck!
