Century Eagle Pencil CO Compass Grade School Circle Instrument
This compass was acquired from a grade school teacher who taught about the 1940s to 1970s.
I suspect the compass may be from this time period, which fits when the compass was manufactured.
The Eagle Pencil Company existed from 1856-1969, until they changed their name to the Berol Pencil Company in 1969.
I’ll admit, for complete honesty, I polished the compass with 4-ot steel wool, removed a small amount of surface rust but yet a remnant remains.
View photos for it is in overall good condition, and the aged metal.
Overall, this is a nice mid-20

century grade school compass.
