This is a new reproduction of an original leather canteen carrier which was primarily a private purchase item used by Army officers 1910-1942.  It is made to accomodate the M1910 metal canteen and cup.  This carrier has a leather strap and hook similar to the M1917 canteen carrier to hook to the saddle.  The strap is also long enough to use as a shoulder strap.  There is also a belt loop on the back so it can be worn on a pistol belt or Sam Browne belt.  NOTE: CANTEEN IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS OFFER.
