Handmade petit point front done in a beautiful cream colored background of a courting couple, colors are vibrant, and the stitching is impeccable
The back is covered in a creamy colored linen type background
There are no repairs, stains or damage to the piece
The gold colored trim of the compact, when closed, looks like the courting couple is in an old antique frame

Opens and closes as it should with a snap
There is also a braided rope double border around the piece
Inside is a mirror that still has a lovely reflection and is in great condition, original powder puff, powder sifter, and a full cup of powder
