Excellent! Antique Raquel Make Up Leather Compact in Shape of Mini Book!

This is a gorgeous early vintage makeup compact miniature book that is just wonderful! The compact has a leather outside covering to mimic a book. It says, "Raquel" on the spine. The leather has gold letters and beautiful gold scroll designs. It has a little gold-toned medal on the front. This particular example has leather in excellent condition... usually the leather on these is very worn and aged, but not on this one! The compact has a button on the front that works well and clasps the book shut. The book measures 3 inches by 2 1/8 inches by 3/8 inches. Excellent condition, one of the nicer examples I have come across on this hard-to-find compact!
