Ethnic Child’s Outfit 2pc Thailand, Vintage. Excellent condition.  Never worn.
Good example of the Northern Hill Tribes of Thailand.  Black cotton or hemp, with detailed appliques Top has silver buttons up the front and colorful applique trim along front opening, sleeves, bottom.  Shoulder width 11", body width 13"  (28 on tag on top . . . might designate size). 5” slit on either side of top, Shorts have an elastic waist (16"), with trim along the bottom edge, 10' length.
We bought this at a market in Chiang Mai in the late 1970's, and is perfect example of the skill and handicraft of the tribes of Northern Thailand.  Their fashion and style distinguish their tribe.
