English Sterling Guilloche Enamel Compact - Dated 1915

Description

Delightful 1 1/2" sterling compact with a guilloche aqua colored enamel lid. Entire compact has no repairs. Hinge is smooth working & original. Closure is the friction method and compact stays closed when shaken. Both sterling & enamel have faint scratching consistent with age and usage. Piece is used but not abused. Mirror has age spotting around it's outer rim-see photo. Hallmarks are in the interior and read: L&S=maker Anchor=Birmingham Lion=Sterling q=date of 1915.
We are seniors and as my husband has health problems I try to only do errands, like Ebay shipping, on Tues. and Fridays.
