Offered is an elaborate antique E & J.B Compact. Raised scroll work surrounding a lovely portrait of a young lady. It is marked E & J.B. It still contains powder marked on back "Charmont" Flesh color. Charmont was a face powder and rouge maker in business 1912-1929. It measures 2" diameter with raised carving. In good condition with age appropriate minor wear. Wonderful addition to any collection. Polite questions cheerfully answered. It came out of a New York City estate where it has been in storage for years.
Shipping is $ 10.00 anywhere in the continental US. Hawaii and Alaska and non US destinations are quoted at close or upon prior request. We sell our own items and also act as a consignment seller for estates and private persons. We strive to treat our sellers and buyers honestly and fairly. We ship almost 100% via USPS. We designate Parcel Post but if fee charged will cover we will use Priority Mail. We charge a flat rate with insurance included.On international sales we quote the best rate we can find at end of item.
Due to some unfortunate experiences in the past we will not ship to China, Present & Former USSR, Most of Middle East and Most of Africa. Contact us before you bid so no one is disappointed. Pick ups are not available.We are very close to Manhattan and will occasionally offer hand delivery on expensive items over 00 if appropriate.
