CUERNAVACA WALT DISNEY’S UNCLE SCROOGE COOKIE JAR - No Lid - 1960!

You are bidding on a rare Uncle Scrooge Cookie Jar - No Lid - Ceramica De Cuernavaca from the 1960’s
In the 1940's and 50's there were many "nameless” ceramic facilities in Mexico making Disney ceramics. The ceramics were supposedly licensed through the Evan K. Shaw Company as some examples have been seen with Shaw paper labels.
The CERAMICA de CUERNAVACA COMPANY (Cuenavaca, Mexico) became an Official Disney licensee in the 1960's. Cuernavaca produced some great Disney characters in the shapes of Wall Masks, Banks and Cookie Jars.
You are bidding on a 5 1/2” tall Ceramic Uncle Scrooge Cookie Jar made by the CERAMICA de CUERNAVACA COMPANY. There are no cracks or breaks on this ceramic piece, however, it definitely has had a rough life. This Uncle Scrooge Cookie Jar no longer has a top or lid. There are two small chips. A 3/8” chip on Scrooge’s left shoulder at the base, and a 3/16” chip on the left side of his yellow beak. There are also a number flea bites and rough areas round the bottom base as well as on his beak. There is also crazing that is most visible on the back of the Cookie Jar and there is also small “pitting” that is evident, but only visible upon close examination.
Due to the condition of this Uncle Scrooge Cookie Jar with No Lid, it is being sold “Used” and “As Is”.
Since Uncle Scrooge items are often sought after, this 60 YEARS OLD Rare Cuernavaca Cookie Jar (even without A top or lid) could make someone a Very Happy Collector! Don’t miss out on this rare and unique piece!
