A Little History
The new Art Moderne Princess Pat branding C1930.
Case probably manufactured by Chase
Princess Pat’s
branding had been modernized. Instead of the coronet image on its metal vanity cases a highly stylized, Art Moderne-influenced, design was introduced. With bold geometric shapes this new case was also coloured in red or purple highlights and it also seemed to be used just for rouge containers. Manufactured first by The Chase Brass and Copper Company of Waterbury, CT and then by Scovill Manufacturing also of Waterbury, CT, this case would be the second last case design used by Princess Pat
