, with capability to extend DVI signal over a single Cat5/Cat6 cable, handles resolutions up to 1600x1200 at up to 130’ (40m) and 1280x1024 at up to 200’ (61m). It uses a Cat-5/5e/6 cable to transmit digital video of PC to the remote monitor/projector. The unit meets DVI 1.1 compliant standard.
With integrated EDID (extended display identification data), the PC will continue sending digital signals even if the monitor is disconnected. You can then reconnect the monitor in a remote location without rebooting the operating system. The DVI Extender features 8-level equalization rotary control, and allows the receiver unit to learn EDID information for DVI/HDMI supported devices
The AT-DVI40SRS DVI Extender comes with a transmitter and a receiver unit. Additionally, the receiver is attached to the monitor, while the transmitter to the PC DVI output. The successful connection is indicated by blinking of 2 LED lights on the RJ45 connector.
