Powder pan is missing, scratches to aluminum interior base where it once was
Mirror has some black speckles

Black enamel shows almost no scuffs
Some wear to chrome coating on exterior near latch

Armand, a cosmetics firm, was founded in Des Moines Iowa in 1916 by Carl Weeks and was the leading seller of face powder in the USA by 1927. Logo developed was a pompadour woman's head in silhouette. Famous for inventing Cold Cream Powder in 1916. Salisbury House, his Tudor style home finished in 1927, is now a museum. Armand introduced the Florian line in 1929, products for men. Due to extreme competition in the cosmetics market, Armand was merged into Weeks & Leo Co Inc in 1950 (still in operation today) and Mr Weeks retired. Firm tried to revive the Armand brand but was unsuccessful and it had completely disappeared by the 1960s.
