Antique Victorian Small Button Pin Sewing Box black glass MOP buttons Pasteboard
Item Description:
This colorful little 2-drawer button / pin box immediately caught my eye, with its wonderfully detailed red, gold and black printed paper exterior that features figures on horses. The box, which is likely from the late 19th c. to early 20th c., is made of cardboard or paste board, with the printed paper over a black base paper.  The box has two Victorian metal pulls for the drawers. Inside the drawers are a mix of vintage hooks and eyes, and white mother of pearl (MOP) buttons; and a little "grape cluster" of twenty round black glass buttons with little round seed type decorations. It's great for storing buttons, pins or other tiny items.
Condition:
Excellent antique condition, with very little use wear (see photos).

Approx. 2 3/4" L by 3 1/4" D by 4" H.
