    Description

    This auction is for a old embroidered compact, with Oriental and Asian influence.  It is in very good, unused condition.  Top has embroidered bird, with glass? finger ring, and beads.  It is from Vantine's The Oriental Store, which was in New York.  They were importers of these types of goods.  Started in the late 1800's.  Measures about 3 1/2 inches across, and 7/8 inch high.
