Antique sewing attachments wooden puzzle box 1889?

Antique wooden sewing puzzle box with sewing machine attachments. The box looks like it says patented 1889 but I am not sure. Has some wear as can be expected. Not sure if or where the attachments outside the box go but they were with it when I got it. Please look at pictures for best idea of the item and condition.
