    Description

    Antique Marathon Compact.  Case is 4" long by 2 1/4" wide.  The edges and clasp are silver and are beautifully detailed.   Beautiful pink rose paining on blue background on front of case is 1 1/4" and is in perfect condition.  Silver chain is 4 3/4" long and in excellent condition.  Silver clasp is also in excellent condition.  Inside metal is gold. Mirror has no scratches or cracks. There are two powder holders and one small lipstick tube.  The original powder puff is still in dispenser. Interior has not been cleaned up so there is some powder residue.  Marathon maker's mark is stamped right under clasp.  Overall the piece is in very nice condition.
