    Description
    Vintage Italian powder case compact with heavily engraved 800 gilt silver case and romantic hand painted enamel scene on the lid.
    Inside, the case features a large beveled mirror.
    It is marked 800 Italy and a V.I. touchmark on the rim of the mirror.  Inside powder compartment is marked with a V inside a circle and the number 30.
    Measures 2 5/8" wide, 2 1/2" tall and 3/8" thick.  Case is clean and in beautiful condition.  Mild perfume fragrance scent inside, but no powder residue.  Faint wear to the gilt gold finish on the bottom.
    Lovely old compact for your collection in well cared for condition.
