    Description
    Up for auction is this very nice Antique Houbigant double vanity compact. It is a goldtone, pressed powder vanity case with a celluloid lid inset flower basket motif with logo. The base has reverse engine-turned concentric circles. It is case signed and has a hinged framed mirror. It is 2" six-sided x 3/4". This compact is circa 1927 and it is in good condition. There are no puffs with it. Something very interesting about the flower logo.... Both French cosmetic houses of Langlois and Houbigant had the flower basket logo in various styles.
