If you do decide to purchase from me, please note that I stand behind my sale, and it is NOT necessary to contact ebay, before contacting me. If you have ANY questions, or are unhappy with the item, for any reason, what so ever. Just either write or call me, and I will do whatever is necessary to make you a happy customer. Also, please pay attention to measurements, because pictures sometimes look very large in the listing, but the item, might be smaller in person.
I purchased the remaining inventory, and personal collection of E Byrne Livingston, when she passed away, around 1999.  All these items, were hers, and not from a store, and were never sold, so are in perfect condition.  Her items can be seen in the Guggenheim Museum, on permanent display.  Many of these items, are equal or better than the ones in the museum, and some are very rare, one of a kind pieces.
This is a very nice, made in the 1940's signed, solid Sterling Silver pin, from E Byrne Livingston, an amazing craftswoman, who designed, and made her own jewelry in the 1930's through the 1950's.  She took inspiration from Scandinavian, as well as Mexican silversmiths.  This one is very Scandinavian looking, with a three dimesntional shield on top, and a ball hangin from the bottom.  If you look at the back of the ball, it is finished, which sjhows her dedication to fine silver work.
It measures a long 2.03" in height, and is in perfect condition.
I own and have owned a lot of Scandinavian jewelry, especially Jensen, and her work is every bit a good as any jeweler, I have ever seen!
I do not polish any silver items, as I have found that the majority of buyers prefer the original patina, left intact.
I will always combine shipping on purchases of multiple items.
Please note that any item that is altered in any way after purchase, whether buy the buyer or by the seller, it can not be returned under any circumstances. This means that I you shorten a bracelet, or resize a ring, I Will not take it back. Please be sure you want what you have bought, before you change it in any way.
