    Description

    This antique 1917 Melba Gold-tone Hammered Metal Rouge and Lipstick Compact/Wristlet is in
    GOOD
    used condition for its age.  The compact shows very little wear from age, use and storage (see photos).  One side has a small ding (see photo #2).  The compact opens and closes nicely.  Marked:  Melba (on one end).  Each corner on both sides is engraved with an "M".  The string is still attached to slip over the wrist.  No chips or cracks in the mirror that we could find.  The lid still opens like it should where the rouge would be.  The bottom of the rouge area is marked:  Pat'd Apr. 24 Aug 14.1917.  The compact would need to be wiped off before displaying.  The measurement is approx.:  3 3/4" x 2 1/8" x 1/2".  A
