Glorious and gorgeous.
The front of the abalone shell has received a pressurized treatment of marine-grade epoxy for extra shine and to protect the surface. The back of the shell is untreated.
The colors are absolutely dazzling. Nature has produced a beautiful specimen and Amy has produced a OOAK masterpiece with it.
I believe it to be an early OOAK studio piece (before HSN and China) as I have never seen another, but in any event all Amy’s creations are considered to be OOAK based on nature’s variation, the choice of stones and artistic differences of the individual maker.
As my AKR clients are aware, I am a passionate collector of her work and have at least a hundred pieces, but it’s time to do a little downsizing and I’m regretfully parting with some. Many of them have already sold, but there are still some currently listed and I will be adding more in the months to come.
I have added a wonderful hammered sterling silver collar which of course can be used with any of your other pendants. It has a hook clasp so it can hold the pendant securely.
