Description
Please examine photos. They are THIS item and are part of the description. I do not use stock photos or photos of other people's items, unless otherwise indicated. This is a vintage L'Ame' (La-May) compact with patent date March 21-(19)25. It has the Pierrot and Columbine design manufactured by Pallas Manufacturing circa 1928. The founder of short lived La May cosmetics was William Herbert Roystone. (Info from Vintage Antique Shop listing of same compact.) This example shows some wear to base metal on Columbine. The snap is missing its rivet and has been reinforced to close tight but still open with push of the button. The powder well is empty and puff is missing. The better example at the Vintage Antique Shop is listed for with free USA shipping.
Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age.
