Here's a 1920s unused Jonteel silver plated vanity rouge box with mirror, chain and original label inside!...Found in the basement of Watson's Drug Store in Greenville, Illinois where it has been in old store stock since the 1920s....The top of lid has the famous art deco style Jonteel Bird of Paradise perched on large letter J, which was the trade mark of the Jonteel Company.  Inside the 8 sided box is the original label, which is printed on both sides....JONTEEL VANITY BOXES come in two styles....This Vanity Box is designed to fit the Jonteel Compact Face Powder and Rouge, etc.etc.....The silver plated box has textured sunburst on bottom....1 5/8"across x 3/4"deep....original chain with finger ring....Excellent never used condition. Some tarnish from old age.  Opens and snaps shut nicely.....guaranteed authentic
