1920's Vintage Ladies Enamel On Silver Compact Wrist Purse fraternity gift

Description

Here is a beautiful well-made ladies compact makeup kit & wrist purse from the 1920s.  It is beautiful silver metal with enameled black and white designs including a central enamel oval with pink rose against a black ground.  The reverse has a tiny silver fraternity badge (Kappa Delta Rho) shows this was likely a gift from a young man in that fraternity, possibly upon graduation.  Inside is a mirror facing rouge and powder applicators and a small hinged compartment for lipstick.  Some of the original product is still present.  The woven black cloth wrist strap is exquisite and has a small silver openwork collar.  Condition is superb.  Measurements as shown in picture.
